Ferris was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They beat the Mead Panthers by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Ferris were the better team in the second half.

Ferris' victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Mead, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5-2.
