Volleyball Recap: Grand Ledge Extends Road Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

Grand Ledge won the last time they faced Everett and things went their way on Thursday too. The Comets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Grand Ledge was: they took every set by at least 19 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-3, 25-5.

Addison Cornman was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten assists and three aces. Jade Queen also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Grand Ledge was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 27 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Grand Ledge pushed their record up to 10-9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Everett, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Grand Ledge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against East Lansing on the 30th. As for Everett, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Williamston on the 27th.
