South Johnston is a perfect 7-0 against Hunt since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. South Johnston will be playing in front of their home fans against Hunt at 6:00 p.m. South Johnston is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Monday, South Johnston was able to grind out a solid win over Triton, taking the game 6-3.

Meanwhile, Hunt came up short against East Wake on Friday, falling 16-3. Hunt hasn't had much luck with East Wake recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

South Johnston pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hunt, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

South Johnston skirted past Hunt 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will South Johnston repeat their success, or does Hunt has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
