Baseball Recap: Richardson Takes a Loss

Richardson fell victim to North Mesquite and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 1-0. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 16-7-2. As for North Mesquite, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Richardson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for North Mesquite, they will face off against West Mesquite at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
