Baseball Recap: McNair Comes Up Short

McNair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Franklin Yellowjackets, falling 15-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McNair's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Franklin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Franklin will head out on the road to face off against Edison at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. McNair will be paying especially close attention to the Yellowjackets' matchup: after the Yellowjackets faces off against the Vikings, they'll take on McNair again at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
