Baseball Recap: Altamont Indians vs. Hardin County Cougars

Altamont extended their postseason success on Monday against Hardin County. They had just enough and edged the Hardin County Cougars out 7-6. The win was nothing new for Altamont as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Kade Milleville spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Kaidyn Miller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Miller, who scored a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Altamont's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-9. As for Hardin County, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-4.
