Soccer Game Preview: Ridge Point vs. Fort Bend Clements

The Ridge Point Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Fort Bend Clements Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Ridge Point's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Fort Bend Bush with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Ridge Point in their matchups with Fort Bend Bush: they've now won seven in a row.

Fort Bend Clements hadn't beaten Fort Bend Hightower on the road since December 13, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Rangers were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Hurricanes. Considering Fort Bend Clements have won 11 matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Fort Bend Hightower from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Yunus Toraman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
