Softball Recap: Mammoth Comes Up Short

Mammoth fell victim to California City and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Ravens, falling 28-0. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Ravens recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Mammoth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for California City, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mammoth will face off against Lee Vining at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for California City, they will challenge Immanuel Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.06 runs per game on average), something the Ravens will no doubt try to take advantage of.
