Volleyball Recap: Springport Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Springport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Union City Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Springport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Union City, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Springport will square off against rival Bronson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Union City is set to take on their familiar foe Quincy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
