Football Recap: John Hancock Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

John Hancock Academy fell victim to Fullington Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 21-0 to the Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured 11 defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Fullington Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Blake Hendrickson led the charge by throwing for 257 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 51 yards and one score on only seven carries. The dominant performance also gave Hendrickson a new career-high in passer rating (152.2). Aidan Hill was another key rusher, gaining 116 total yards and a touchdown.

John Hancock Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fullington Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

John Hancock Academy and Fullington Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rebels are set to face off against their familiar foe Westminster Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fullington Academy will take on rival Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
