Soccer Recap: Perry County Central Takes a Loss

Perry County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Letcher County Central Cougars. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Perry County Central couldn't quite close it out.

Perry County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Letcher County Central, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry County Central will face off against Corbin at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Letcher County Central, they will welcome Knott County Central at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
