Softball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Rogers's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Brooks Lions on Saturday. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Rogers has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for Brooks, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Rogers didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Clements on the 14th. As for Brooks, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Mars Hill Bible on the 12th.
