Calhoun had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against the LaFayette Ramblers by a score of 2-0. The Yellow Jackets were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Ramblers, so the Yellow Jackets were just returning the favor.

Calhoun easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Leading Calhoun to victory were Chloe Edens and Cate Rutland. Edens had eight digs and four assists, while Rutland had 14 assists. That's the most assists Edens has posted since back in August.

Calhoun's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for LaFayette, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 27-8.

Calhoun wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Rome on the 18th. Hopefully LaFayette paid attention to the Yellow Jackets' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Yellow Jackets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
