Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Colts vs. Bowie Volunteers

Arlington is 0-10 against Bowie since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Arlington Colts will head out to square off against the Bowie Volunteers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Arlington earned a 44-37 victory over Sam Houston.

Meanwhile, Bowie hadn't done well against Martin recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Bowie rang in the new year with a 63-54 win over Martin. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Volunteers.

Bowie's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Arlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Arlington couldn't quite finish off Bowie in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 and fell 50-47. Can Arlington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
