Basketball Recap: Sheridan Comes Up Short

Sheridan lost against Scio back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sheridan Spartans took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scio Loggers. The Spartans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Scio, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-14.

Sheridan has already played their next contest (against Gervais), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Scio will head out to challenge Blanchet Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Blanchet Catholic is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Scio a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
