Basketball Recap: Callie Hinds' Big Game Can't Quite Lead South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] over Granada

South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Granada Bobcats, falling 61-39. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Granada's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dayzriana Quintana, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Quintana is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last four games she's played. Emersen Hernandez was another key player, putting up 16 points along with six boards and three steals.

South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Granada, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
