Softball Game Preview: Shoals Jug Rox vs. Orleans Bulldogs

Shoals hasn't had much luck against Orleans recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Jug Rox will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Shoals is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They lost 11-1 to Loogootee. That's two games in a row now that the Jug Rox have lost by exactly ten runs.

Shoals saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbi Rollins, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Orleans was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against New Albany, falling 7-1.

Orleans has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season. As for Shoals, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
