Soccer Recap: Ballston Spa Takes a Loss

Ballston Spa was the 2-1 winner over Troy when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Scotties fell just short of the Flying Horses by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Ballston Spa have lost by just one goal.

Ballston Spa's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Troy, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Ballston Spa has already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against Columbia on the 4th. As for Troy, they will challenge Voorheesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Voorheesville's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
