After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Lake, Nature Coast Tech was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Pasco Pirates, posting a 41-7 win. With the Sharks ahead 35-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Pasco lost, don't look at Gio Reyes. Despite the final result, he rushed for 215 yards and one score while picking up 11.9 yards per carry. Reyes also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles.

The victory got Nature Coast Tech back to even at 1-1. As for Pasco, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
