Baseball Recap: Richland Northeast Takes a Loss

Richland Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Dreher Blue Devils, falling 10-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-6 last Tuesday.

Richland Northeast saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Small, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Richland Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Dreher, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland Northeast will welcome Pelion at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dreher, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Camden at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
