Harvest Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Brody Ticknor made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Ellison, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-6. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Elijah Mann was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

Harvest Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lucas Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Harvest Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Trinity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lucas Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Lakehill Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lucas Christian Academy is facing Lakehill Prep at the right time seeing as Lakehill Prep is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
