Trinity Collegiate had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They strolled past the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats with points to spare, taking the game 57-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-51 last Thursday.

Leading Trinity Collegiate to victory were Landon Wilson and Evan Williams. Wilson went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points along with six assists and three steals, while Williams went 7 for 10 en route to 17 points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in field goal percentage (70%). Another player making a difference was Jy'Ell Preston, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Trinity Collegiate was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Trinity Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Trinity Collegiate beat Laurence Manning Academy by a score of 73-59 on Saturday.
