Softball Recap: Port St. Lucie Jaguars vs. Synergy Magnet K12 Saints
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centennial, Port St. Lucie was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Synergy Magnet K12 Saints get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The game marked the Jaguars' most dominant win of the season.
Rebecca Guison made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Guison was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Port St. Lucie got a massive performance out of Mirelis Benito, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave Benito a new career-high. Mia Torres was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.
