It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cartersville had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past the Starr's Mill Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 53-35. The Hurricanes' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Cartersville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nate Russell out in front who threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylon Long, who rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns.
