Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Michael walked away with it. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the St. Michael's Warriors who were credited with the victory on Monday. The St. Michael's Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Village Vikings's three. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won six games in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Gabriel Zorio, who's now up to eight this season.

St. Michael's pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Village, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

St. Michael's didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against St. Thomas Catholic on the 27th. Village does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
