Favion Kirkwood continued his hot streak on Wednesday by dropping his seventh-straight game with at least 15 points. He went 11 for 20 to rack up 25 points and five steals. The effort also marked the highest field goal percentage (55%) he has had since back in November of 2024.

Kirkwood's strong effort led Johnson over Beach and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kirkwood hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 20.6 per game this season), but he'll have his work cut out for him against a dominant Beach defense that's only given up 25.2 points per game.
