Arrowhead entered their tilt with Catholic Memorial on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Crusaders an 8-0 shutout. The Warhawks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2nd (when they won 11-1).

Arrowhead got a great performance from Peter Kussow as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Kussow has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Brendan Foley was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of PJ Hamel, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

Arrowhead's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Catholic Memorial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Coming up, Arrowhead will venture away from home to take on Wisconsin Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Catholic Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
