Balboa and King City squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Balboa had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 14-5. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Balboa's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for King City, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Balboa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King City, they will head out to square off against Biggs at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
