Red Bud had won ten straight games and Devyn Liefer did her part to make it 11 on Saturday. The Musketeers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Granite City Warriors for which the team can thank Liefer, who had 15 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Red Bud never let Granite City on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24.

Granite City's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elizabeth Weaver, who had 14 digs and one assist.

Red Bud's win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Granite City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

Red Bud has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Jersey on the 20th. As for Granite City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Alton on the 20th.
