Basketball Recap: Corona/Vaughn Takes a Loss

Corona/Vaughn lost against Mountainair back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Corona/Vaughn Cardinals were dealt a 75-28 loss at the hands of the Mountainair Mustangs. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it nine in a row.

Corona/Vaughn's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Mountainair, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Corona/Vaughn will host San Jon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Corona/Vaughn is facing San Jon at the right time seeing as San Jon is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Mountainair, they will venture away from home to take on Carrizozo at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
