Basketball Recap: Scheck Hillel Community School Takes a Loss

Scheck Hillel Community School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The contest between them and the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams didn't end well, with the Scheck Hillel Community School Lions falling 40-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 48-29 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

David Posnack Jewish Day found their leader in sophomore Natalie Sagranichne, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Eden Ezra, who put up eight points.

Scheck Hillel Community School's record now sits at 1-7. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they moved to 3-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Scheck Hillel Community School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they and Donna Klein Jewish Academy will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
