Forsyth posted their closest win since May 3, 2024 on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Clever Blue Jays, sneaking past 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Haiden Holle, who went 2-for-4 with one home run. Braelynn Davidson also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Forsyth hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

Forsyth's record now sits at 12-16. As for Clever, their record is now 19-7.

Coming up, Forsyth will be playing at home against Marionville at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Comets have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. Clever does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
