Baseball Game Preview: Bronx High School of Science Wolverines vs. Morris Bulldogs

The Bronx High School of Science Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Morris Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Morris took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bronx High School of Science, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Bronx High School of Science beat Manhattan Center for Science & Math 6-2. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won four in a row.

Johnathan Stern was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to South Bronx.

Morris' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bronx High School of Science, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Bronx High School of Science came out on top in a nail-biter against Morris in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
