Basketball Recap: Rock Island's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Rock Island won the last time they faced East Moline United and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rock Island Rocks came out on top against the East Moline United Panthers by a score of 56-46. Given the Rocks' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Panthers are ranked 520th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rock Island is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for East Moline United, they dropped their record down to 1-22 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home.
