Basketball Game Preview: Grady Bronchos vs. Clayton Yellowjackets

The Grady Bronchos will head out to square off against the Clayton Yellowjackets at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Grady is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Floyd by a score of 27-24. The contest marked the Bronchos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Clayton might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Des Moines an easy 48-25 win.

Clayton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Grady, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Grady might still be hurting after the 53-31 loss they got from Clayton when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Grady avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
