Recap: West Clermont Wolves vs. Kings Knights
This season hasn't been kind to the West Clermont Wolves, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kings on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Clermont in their matchups with Kings: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carson Duke, who scored 15 points along with four steals. The contest was Duke's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaden Brock-Sanderfer, who scored 14 points.
West Clermont's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Kings, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Clermont will be home for the holidays to greet Winton Woods at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kings will be home for the holidays to greet Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walnut Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 478th, while Kings is ranked 171st).
