Football Recap: Voorheesville Falls to Watervliet in First Game of Season

Voorheesville had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 28-20 to the Watervliet Cannoneers. The Blackbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cannoneers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Voorheesville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-20 defeat against Watervliet/Heatly on the 5th. Watervliet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
