Volleyball Game Preview: Salem Wildcats vs. Taylorsville Tartars

The Salem Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Taylorsville Tartars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salem will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Salem beat Piney Woods 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Salem took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Taylorsville lost 3-0 to Newton on Tuesday. The Tartars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Taylorsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Salem, their win bumped their record up to 21-6.

Salem took their victory against Taylorsville in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
