Softball Game Preview: Manning Monarchs vs. East Clarendon Wolverines

The Manning Monarchs will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the East Clarendon Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Manning is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost 12-2 to Waccamaw on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday East Clarendon sidestepped Hannah-Pamplico for an 8-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Manning might still be hurting after the 19-0 defeat they got from East Clarendon in their previous matchup back in April of 2021. Can Manning avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
