Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Llano Yellowjackets, falling 14-7. Even though they lost, the Buffaloes' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Ethan Hausenfluck made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ethan Miller, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Llano, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-14.

Coming up, Florence will be playing at home against Blanco at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Buffaloes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Llano, they will head out to take on Ingram Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Yellowjackets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
