Basketball Recap: Maxwell Takes a Loss

Maxwell played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 56-29 loss at the hands of South Loup. Having soared to a lofty 57 points in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Maxwell still got an impressive performance from Cole Huffman, who posted 12 points.

Maxwell dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for South Loup, their record is now 8-3.

Maxwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-39 defeat against Cambridge on the 18th. South Loup has also already played their next contest, a 73-49 win against Brady on the 18th.
