Baseball Recap: Waterville Takes a Loss

If Waterville was riding high fresh off their 17-7 takedown of Cascade on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shockers fell 6-3 to Non Varsity Opponent on Wednesday. Shockers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Non Varsity Opponent since on Wednesday.

Waterville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexzander Sheridan, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Waterville now has a losing record of 5-6.

Coincidentally, Waterville and Non Varsity Opponent will both be playing Oroville the next time they take the field. Non Varsity Opponent will head out to face the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Shockers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on the 9th.
