Basketball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waterford Wildcats. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Waterford, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Eastern won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fort Frye at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waterford, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Southern at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
