Soccer Recap: Hanks Comes Up Short

Hanks's tournament run continued when they took on Wyatt on Thursday. The Knights lost 5-1 to the Chaparrals. While losing is never fun, Hanks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 321st, while Wyatt are ranked 160th).

Hanks' goal came courtesy of Sebastian Morales Manzur, who's now up to eight this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hanks and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Wyatt, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Hanks wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Birdville on the 9th. As for Wyatt, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Arlington on the 9th.
