Basketball Recap: Plains Starts Season with Win at Home

Plains gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They really took it to the Two Eagle River Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-12 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-10.

Two Eagle River is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Plains wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-36 victory against Troy on the 14th. Two Eagle River will take on Heart Butte in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
