Nucla has gone 8-2 against Ridgway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will face off against the Demons at 5:00 p.m. Ridgway took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Nucla, who comes in off a win.

Nucla took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Ouray with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Nucla never let Ouray on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Dolores.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-9.

Ridgway's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Nucla, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Nucla couldn't quite get it done against Ridgway when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
