Soccer Recap: Southeast Alamance Comes Up Short

Southeast Alamance lost against Western Alamance back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stallions came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Southeast Alamance were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Abby Stadnicar, who's now up to 22 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Southeast Alamance and nudges their season record down to 9-7-2. As for Western Alamance, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 16-0-1.

Southeast Alamance and Western Alamance should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Stallions will challenge Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (177 vs. 439). Meanwhile, Western Alamance (ranked seventh) will meet Person (ranked 432nd) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Western Alamance's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Person have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
