Volleyball Recap: Conant Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Lake Park

Conant faced Lake Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 2-1. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Lake Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conant will take on Barrington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Park, they will welcome Geneva at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
