Gardner-South Wilmington posted their biggest victory since January 26, 2024 on Thursday. They blew past the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders 54-26. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Panthers had established a 20 point advantage.

Despite the defeat, Grace Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kaitlyn Jorgensen posted 14 points and three steals.

Gardner-South Wilmington's win bumped their record up to 6-21. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gardner-South Wilmington will square off against Tri-Point at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they and Calvary Christian Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
