Preview: Red Hill Salukis vs. Grayville Bison
Red Hill has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Grayville Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Saturday, Red Hill came up short against Webber and fell 54-44. While losing is never fun, Red Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while Webber is ranked 196th).
Grayville posted their biggest win since December 11, 2023 on Saturday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 77-43 victory over Norris City-Omaha-Enfield. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-26.
Ty'zae Rowland continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 37 points and 12 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 18 games he's played. Canyon Neeley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Red Hill bumped their record down to 8-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Grayville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.
Red Hill came up short against Grayville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 73-60. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Rowland, who scored 30 points along with nine rebounds.
